Saturday, 4pm, May 24 1. Children (grade 4 & under) –Mandarin
      2. Youth A (grades 5 - 7) –Mandarin
      3. Youth B (grades 8 - 12) –Mandarin
      4. Adults (18 -27 yrs) –Mandarin 
Saturday, 7pm, May 24 5. (Non-Mandarin speaking background) –Mandarin
      6. Friendship (Non-Mandarin speaking background) –English 

Sunday, 2pm, May 25 7. Taiwanese (grade 7 & under) 
      8. Hakka (grade 7 & under) 
Sunday, 2pm, May 25 9. Parents – Mandarin, Hakka or Taiwanese
      10. Grandparents – Mandarin, Hakka or Taiwanese 

FINAL ROUND: Sunday, June 1 at 2:00pm
Location:  UBC Robson Square Theatre, 800 Robson Street, Vancouver

This is the second Taiwanese Languages (Mandarin; Hakka; Taiwanese) Storytelling Competition 
in Vancouver for all ages. The participants may choose any story not exceeding 5 minutes in length. 
Group 6 is a special competition for English Storytelling of Taiwanese stories. 
(Stories could be provided upon request).  
 
Big prizes and scholarship opportunities await you. The winner of this storytelling competition, 
group 3;4;5; may get the chance to enjoy a study tour in Taiwan.  

This is an event that your whole family will enjoy. Admission is free.
