Alice Ming
Wai Jim, PHD
Alice Ming Wai Jim is Assistant Professor of Contemporary Art in the Department
of Art History at Concordia University, Montreal, QC. She was formerly
Curator of the Vancouver International Centre for Contemporary Asian Art,
Centre A (2003-2006). Her teaching and research interests include contemporary
Asian art and Asian Canadian art, media art, theories of representation,
and curatorial studies.
Her writings have been published in books, exhibition catalogues and journals.
She is currently working on the exhibition and symposium "Redress
Express: Chinese restaurants and the head tax issue in Canadian art"
opening summer 2007 at Centre A.
