Mo Dhaliwal

Mo Dhaliwal believes that truly harmonious communities are the ones that embrace the arts and explore their own diversity. As a patron of the arts and producer of events such as Vancouver Celebrates Diwali and Vaisakhi, Mo works to shatter barriers between people and encourage cross-cultural understanding.

Educated in Business Administration at the University College of the Fraser Valley, Mo spent over 10 years working in software development and Internet marketing in the Silicon Valley region of California and as far away as Norway.

In 2004, Mo founded the Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration and began his foray into cultural enterprise and ethnic marketing.

Now, working as a Strategist for the multi-ethnic agency, Hamazaki Wong Marketing Group, Mo works with mainstream clients to develop and execute their ethnic marketing strategies.
